Attention needs to be brought to the recent and more frequent interactions between humans and black bears throughout the United States. From feeding them to taking selfies, this can cause harm to both parties. A black bear's size and strength could easily harm a human, and these more frequent encounters precondition the bears to be less afraid of people. This increases the likelihood for these animals to eventually harm humans and to be put down by animal services to prevent any further attacks.
